Matt Flores is building momentum in pursuing several series simultaneously.
The Urban Corners series is where Matt is currently pursuing the gouache medium in colorful explorations of the Pittsburgh region.
Singular / one-off works done as experiments, for friends, or for shows with a particular subject.
The Gutterwalk series highlights the lack of commitment by the Pittsburgh city or Allegheny county governments to enable safe travel to their citizens in the form of protected sidewalks or as is often the case, any sidewalks which often forces people to walk in the gutters.
The Habit series of sketchbooks serves multiple purposes to the artist including: study, musing repository, material testing surface, occasional journal, and sticker repository.
